Orchard Cafe's Buffet with Fresh Durians

Finally, my blog on the buffet we had in Orchard Cafe. The buffet itself is very expensive, at $52 +++ per pax, but in conjunction with the national day, there's a promotion from Aug 1st till Aug 12th. Everyone who wore red top and white bottom or vice versa will enjoy a 42% off the usual price. Wiiii.. It's cool, isnt it?

So, to enjoy the offer, we, and when I say we, I meant the F4 & SS, wore red and white. Simply hilarious, funny and embarassing to have the whole street looking at us.. Phew.. luckily I only change in the hotel itself. Anyway, there's a lot of 'national flags' walking in the cafe, so it's kinda normal. Hehe. Can anyone imagine 5 ppl wearing the same colour combination and walking along Orchard Road? I believe we will be focused in Newpaper the next day, with headlines like: Singaporeans simply love their country or somethings like that....

Okok.. sidetracked too much.. Back to the buffet. Overall, the varieties were humongous. There's a lot of food!! All sorts!! From Singapore delights, to Japanese corner, to BBQ food etc. There's just so much to choose from. Too much food, but too little space in the stomach. Yeah, our appetite has decreased with age. We arent like before where we can 'engulf' food like there's no tomolo... By the way, the durians were kinda disappointing

Finally, some pix to show how national-flaggy we were... Pardon the food. They weren't taken. It's either our hands are too oily, very forgetful, or we simply were too anxious to eat the nice nice dishes :)
