The past 20 days were a torture. Well, reservist was not as relaxing as anticipated. Damn those who told me reservist is pure sleep and eat. I guess I am just 'suay' to be in my current unit, where I am all alone without any friends I made during army dazes... Sigh.. I was so lonely :( and scared..... I strongly believed that the camp I was in, is HAUNTED... I felt it....
Individual physical proficiency test, commonly known as IPPT was suppose to be a breeze, if not for the stupid 2.4km running. The current scheme of award-giving is just plain stupid. I may have gotten full marks at all the static stations, namely standing board jump, chin-up, shuttle run and situps, but just because I couldnt run as fast, I could just barely scraped through with a pass. In fact, I still dunno my results. What the hill -.-ll Is this life, at least in the army, in Singapore?
Can't really talk about my reservist cos Leilei has warned about blogging on sensitive issues (Army stuffs have always been sensitive) here. I could jolly well get a jail-term for not being tactical. Talking about jail.. Bad bad Dave, who happened to bring out the rifle just a day before my reservist. HE BLARDY MADE THE WHOLE SECURITY IN THE ARMY INCREASES!! Especially after ranges... Sighhh...
Finally released last friday or should I say last saturday instead? Erm.. well, it doesnt really matters already. What matters most is: I'M OUT :) I would wanna express my gratitude to Leilei who accompanied me to Orchard for a midnight movie on saturday, despite he being sick. We watched 'I now pronounced you Larry and Chuck'. It was funny. What less can we expect from Adam Sandler? However, I do admit I almost fell asleep. Maybe I am too tired since I just booked out that Saturday.. or was the show boring? Erm... I also dunno...
Reached home around 2am after the show and everything. Still managed to wash mine and my sis's jeans in a dazy mode. Completely fell asleep around 330am, almost forgetting I have a run in the morning, at 8am... Well, talking about the run, it's quite lame, since we didnt really run, AT ALL. It was raining heavily in the morning, so I sent a sms to Angela who in turn replied that we must have the Terry Fox spirit!! It's the Terry Fox run anyway. Ok.. So I dragged myself out of bed and washed up and simply sit there until Angela called again when her taxi was approaching my place. We (Ruru, Mumu and me) took a cab to Sentosa but dunno where to alight. We decided to drop at Palawan Beach, only to realise that the starting point was in Siloso. What the... No choice loh... but to walk to Siloso beach. Were kinda surprised to see the many ushers (1 per 10m) along the way. We were not even anywhere close to the starting point, when we saw people running in the opposite directions. OOPS -.-'' Well, anyway, we made a 180 degrees turn somewhere before the slope and started walking ALL THE WAY. Haha. Fulfilling eh ;p
Hours later, we are in Vivo. My running shorts were so damn short that I looked as if I were just wearing a Tshirt and nothing else. Haha. Despite wearing so sloppily, we still went to the HC Crystal Jade Dine In and had a expensive and heavy brunch. Successfully replenish the calories we lost.. and gaining extras on top of that -.-ll We carried on walking around Vivo until we were practically shivering from the cold air. We were wearing very short shorts, remember? Haha.. Our final destination that day was Bakerzin :) Talking about Bakerzin, anyone with Bakerzin receipts, please kindly pass them to me. I'm collecting them ;p Just a footnote... ANYONE dont include KC :)
Wow.. I am so long winded. So I think I should just cut short the remaining 2 days. Basically, I took urgent leave on Monday (I'm too blardy tired!!) and went KTV-ing with Mumu and Ruru. Bought a AX jeans that day that costed me almost $270... -.-ll but but... I really liked it (I think)... especially with the BIG AX logo at the surface ;p
Back to work on Tuesday. Everything is almost the same except that I am starting to learn some script writings. Not those play or drama scripts but some computer programming scripts. They are so simply alienic to me and Nana... and AK2 really really can drag and listening to him in attention is just as challenging as listening to my sup's........ Watched Ratatouille that night. I simply LOVE the show. The French accent, the food, the bondings, the songs, simply EVERYTHING!!! Two thumbs up and strongly recommended everyone to watch. Erm.. Try not to anticipate too much like Ruru and Nana who kinda felt disappointed because they have expected too much ;p
Anyway, I bought a pair of shorts from Pull and Bear that day too. Kinda overpriced at $85 but since I have been looking for a pair of shorts since Buddha knows when, I decided to end it with the purchase. Cheers.
That's all folks, i suppose. Although I did skip a lot of parts especially the 2 weeks when I am serving the army. But I guess that wont affect too much. I am still me and I will still be bloggin about more events to come. Good luck and take care. Till then :) Cheers
PS: I'm damn broke this month....!!!...!!!...!!!...!!!
