Sunday was passion run. Haha. See we so passion go and run. We were suppose to meet at 730am at Bedok Taxi Stand. I was as usual, punctual and met up Mumu and Ruru at the market. Mumu passed me the singlet for the run and expected me to change on the spot. Siao. I'm not an exhibitionist leh.
Anyway, on our way to the taxi stand, we met this foreigner who asked us for directions to the running venue. Our replies were simple: Take the cab -.-'' So he crossed the road and hailed a cab. He was nice to offer us a ride to the venue. On the cab, we chatted and came to realise he is kinda in the same field as me - A biologist. He is a immunologist from University of Newcastle, Australia. At present, he (Tim) was situated in the Singapore campus. Upon reaching the venue. he was nice to pay for the ride, although quite cheap lah. He showed interest in exchanging our contacts and offered to give seminars in our companies should we want one. That's very kind of him. Too bad, my company only deals with bioinformatics.
Back to the run. We squeezed right to the front of the standing point. SM Goh was just next to us and he flagged off the run. In no time, we were lagging behind everyone. Haha. We started off first and were among the last to return. So lousy... Mumu lah!!! Anyway, pictures taken after the run. We were so sunny... Hehe
Edited: Tim Roberts is not just a lecturer in University of Newcastle. He's the dean of the University's Singapore Campus oO. Wow. And he's not just an immunologist. He's a renowned immunology professor. WOW!! 出门遇贵人
