Went Orchard for movies again. Rushed out from work and reached the bus stop, which is like very far away from my office, in less than 10mins. Haha. I did it yet again ^^. It's an acheivement to fulfil something you wanna do, especially under pressure :) I'm just too good ;p
So I reached orchard in 25mins, bought some OCK and some drinks from 7-11. Hey, 2 bottles of green tea for $1.90 is better than 1 for $2.90 from Cineleisure loh. Waited again for Hor. Lucky he's only 10mins late as compared to the previous 45mins to hours. He blamed it on the traffic jam... -.-''
Anyway, The Simpsons was cool. It's totally hilarious and funny. Very 无理头. It's worth the bucks. Although it's just like an extended Simpsons TV cartoon, but this movie is ermmm... I dunno how to describe. Just go and watch it. Believe me, it's funny... at least for me. A final note: Dont forget to stay till the very end, after the credits. You are due for some surprises :)
The second show we watched, with Ruru, is the Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros. This show was about the life story of a gay boy. No idea whether it's based on a real story or not. The setting was very Filipina and I kinda find the background music irritating (The irritating index increases as the movie carries on). Not as touching as I would have expected it to be. Just a normal simple story of Maxi, torn between family and love. Not really worth a watch, unless you got the extra cash and have watched Simpsons.
After the movie, was hoping we will pop into Xin Wang for a mango ice, but alas... nothing... I went home with a hungry stomach, slept with it and I am sure, it groaned throughout the night. Vividly, I have dreams about groaning stomachs.
My English is just getting from bad to worse. Can't imagine my future PhD days. Arghhhh.. Save me, Buddha.. Ermmm.. do you speak English?
