A busy weekend

The past weekend has been my busiest so far. Events started from knocking off on Friday until the last minutes of Sunday. Wiiiii... But I will drop dead should this go on every week.. I'm oredi old and cannot take it anymore.. And well, ya, you too, Ruru... take a break sometimes (I know you are reading this, almost immediately ;p)

Friday - A gathering with Ruru and YY at night. Well, all was well, if not for the merciless rain. We were trapped in the rain with 2 miserably little umbrella. Had some embarassing moments, but it's kinda tough to explain here, so well, ask me next time if you wanna know. We ended up in a Russian restaurant as planned. Buddha blessed us for getting there almost effortless despite the fact that YY has forgotten how to get to the place. The ulu ulu restaurant in the midst of Arab Street is very cosy, or simply, small. We blindly ordered some dishes to the TobeyMaguire-lookalike guy. We dont really know what will be served. Lucky the dishes werent as bad as we thought. All except the drinks. I thought they sux!! YUKKIES! Special, but yukkies.. maybe cos i dont drink yoghurt and beer.Somehow, we ended up in some pubs for a chill-out session after the meal although it was not catered for. This place called Blue-Jaz near Bugis was quite ok with additional points for nice nice smoothies :) I bet Auntie will love this place... Come to think of that, Auntie simply loves pubs... All kind, all sorts, whatever and anything. Haha

Saturday - MobiHunt!! A treasure-hunt like thingy where you will be getting clues through wireless into mobiles (that gives it the name). Reached the meeting point too 'early' (We are on time, others are late). The starting flag was flagged at 1030 after an hour wait. First stop, ShawHouse. Well, we all know where it is, but getting there from Dempsey, was almost impossible for us. Disorientated, we almost lost our way in Tanglin Village. Resorted to getting a cab in the end. Throughout the day, we took a lot of cabs and we proclaimed that day was the day we took the most number of cabs. Basically from checkpoint to checkpoint, we took cabs. Haha. Imagine their distance, since fares were ALL under $4 ;p
Well, we did learn somethings from the game although we did not win anything in the end. How to compete against people with their own transport? Well, I did cheat by asking for helps from friends, but I doubt the others didnt. Haha, well, the main purpose was to have fun and we did, especially when we were sitting in DOME, eating to our heart's fill :)

Ruru gotta rushed off for that piece of summer, and so, I met up with Monkey. He accompanied me for more food from HK Cafe to Bakerzin until I finally reconcile with Ruru for a late night movie, the Detective, by Aaron Kwok. We thought it was purely a thriller about how a detective solved some mysteries. Who, among us, would have guessed it was a horror movie afterall. Well, we had a great fright during the show -.-ll

Sunday - The long awaited Sunday finally arrived with great anticipations. We were to attend LeeHom's autography session @ Bishan. He sang 3 songs before settling down for autographs. A 3 hours wait for the 3 seconds glimpse of him and his autograph was really worth it!!! Haha. It has been years since I last saw him that close. Still as gorgeous, still as fair =)
Rushed home and bathed after the session and gotten myself prepared for Lingqin's wedding dinner. Being my first ever friend's wedding dinner, I tried to look as good as I could. In fact, it was the first time I changed clothes for half an hour oO.. I just dont seem good in any outfit -.-ll I was really excited with the whole thing!! It has been 4 years since I last saw Lingqin.

Reached the wedding place earlier than most of the rest and was among the firsts (others being Guohui and Weewee who came together) to sign on the guestbook. Saw Lingqin. She's so pretty today, looking like a princess or rather some deities with her new hairdo. Weewee werent that tactful to comment Lingqin looks fatter though. Well, that's our same Weewee. Dinner was great and fulfilling as I ate A LOT. I practically ate 3 shares alone -.-ll No thanks to Weewee who kept remarking that I wanna eat every bits that's left and I'm hungry. The others (excluding Weewee since she ate 2 shares) were really slow and small eaters -.-ll. Had a great catching up with my friends :)
Been wondering why we didnt really take any pictures with the bride ever since Sunday. Had a lot of fun for the past weekend and now, I'm so looking forward to Beebee's labour and Weewee's marriage \(^.^)/
