One wont know how important is saving until he noticed he has almost no more reserves in the bank.
Similarly, one forgotten how important it is to save, when he noticed he has money in his hands :)

Overheard a convo recently. Someone was saying money will depreciate. $1000 in the bank now may not be equivalent to $1000 in future. The denomination might be the same, but the value wont. Say, we used to be able to buy 10 bowls of noodles with $2 35 years ago, but now, you really have to search hard to even buy 1 with $2.. That's the difference..
Was telling this to XX the other day... and the reply was, "That's why, spend loh~~"
