I always thot so, but
Being Nice has made me deeply regretted not changing groups back last year
Being Nice had cost me thousands of dollars
Being Nice has made it almost impossible to reject anyone
And worse
Being Nice has gotten me living in my self-created world, where there are no lies and everyone smiling is good.
I need to step into reality

The lesson here is NOT to stop being nice, but to learn to be ASSERTIVE.
You can be assertive AND still be nice.

contradictory lah, u cannot be nice n assertive at the same time.
like donald say, u can selectively continue to be nice to selected targets, but u cant be nice n assertive to all targets.
like driving u can engage gear 1 or gear 2 as u wish, u can switch in between the two gears as u wish, but u cant use gear 1 & 2 at the same time.
yes u can use hyper switching but then u'll come across as very fake.
learn to be selective ba.
some ppl, u can only be diplomatic towards them, being nice doesn't work.
