It's been long since I have updated... A check back on the previous post revealed that it has been 2 weeks since I last posted anything. 2 weeks without a new post is long, considering I have been constantly updating it whenever I'm not cut off from the internet world.. Well.. So what have I been doing?
Nothing much.. Haha.. I'm just
1) Busy with work. Yes.. Stuphen has been giving me quite a number of things to do. But anyway, I am more or less done with whatever is given, so I have time to blog again :)
2) Looking for jobs. Working here in BII (Bioinformatics Institute) is just way too boring for me. I am not being fully utilised. Looking for a new job which I can be more involved in the whole procedure and research. Have been engaging myself with writing resumes, cover letters, and sending relevant jobs to the relevant friends who are looking for jobs as well. It's the 'I need a new job' season again. Been to 4 interviews so far. 1 has sent me the rejection letter and the other few are still pending my application.
3) Looking for new food. Have been trying out new restaurants rather than the old standard few. Just went to Tonkichi for the first time. Ok, not bad I would say. Was in Venezia Ice creamery the other day. Their waffles and ice cream were just perfect. Their main course though, was just normal.
4) Reading MORE comics. Have caught up with Kekkaishi, Ga-Rei, Mx0, 07-Ghost, etc, the past few days. Getting so excited with some of the stories... then you see this phrase... ~To be continued~ Sianz... have to wait and wait and wait... and wait again.
5)Shopping and shopping and shopping. With the on-going Great Singapore Sale, it's just wrong not to be doing any shopping. And not forgetting birthdays and father's day ~~ So many sales around and I simply get elated from seeing 30%, 40% and 50% discounts.
6) Scholarship and PhD. Have been aliasing with my ex-supervisor on the PhD issue. Looking through the various scholarships and trying my best to understand them. I dont even know what the hill they are talking about. And I simply cant imagine fighting for a position out of the 15 with the entire world! What's my chances like?
7) Friends issue is still bugging me. Leilei is still uncontactable, or should I say, i'm still not getting any replies from him? I was talking to my friend the other day and was damn sad to know I was actually really blocked by him in MSN. Sigh.. What should I do leh?
8) More catching-ups to come. I have been organising gatherings. There will be one this Saturday that was supposed to involve the majority of the girls. But... I havent received any replies from 2 of them and I'm seriously annoyed. Very, course this was not the first time liao. But also, since it wasn't the first time, I'm kinda prepared. So this saturday's gathering shall still be carried out despite not getting any replies from Auntie and Bee. Have also been catching up with my ex-colleagues and was so envious at how well they are doing with their present job/studies. UniFriends gatherings are the next to come. Xiuxiu, when are you available?
Actually hor.. I really have no idea why am I writing this entry. It's just a messy lot of every little thing that happened. I have been missing out the major celebrations and everything.. haha... Just cos I am too lazy to post up the pictures :P oh well. At least this is an update of what is going on.. what have been done and what will be happening. A little bit of emotions, a little bit of everything.
