Updates

Before I started blogging, I think I should warn everyone that this entry will be long.. If you dont like reading long paragraphs and such, please leave. This entry comprises of almost everything that happened in the past 2 weeks, so what less do you expect -.-ll So many things, so little time, I dont even know where I should start. Maybe I should start with the company BBQ?

It's quite a surprise that the event turned out to be a success, since all were not very smooth along the way. At least, people were happy and there were enough food for all. A pity though that the blur blur me forgotten to cater for the vegetarians.. but come on, how were I to know that so many Indians are vegetarians... I thot they eat a lot of beefs.. see all those curries.. arent they meatiful? And Bran's motto of not able to please everyone is kinda getting up my nerves... Haha.. but it's ok anyway.. We were still afraid there are not enough food for all, but it turns out we have EXTRAs, at least for the BBQ food. So wasted to have to throw some away after the whole thing as people are reluctant to bring them back.. Lucky we managed to persuade some to do so.. Credits to Ryan and Felicia =) Somehow I feel that the organising committee (that includes me) didnt really do a good job. It was so messy when ppl started coming. I was totally at a loss of what to do next and kinda embarassed when they started walking in as everything was still in a mess and nothing has been set up: the fire, the food and even the drinks. Lucky Supportive colleagues offered helps along the way. Thanks ^^. So I would say, the success belongs to everyone. Extra credits to WM, whom I must really present him with the best BBQ-er award someday. One thing that kinda pissed me though was that the person-in-charge didnt really help at all. He practically came in later than most of everyone and started talking around. Good PR skills though :@


After BBQ, I decided to go and catch the movie 'Secret'. Thanks Bran who dropped me off at BV MRT or I really wouldnt have known how to travel to Orchard from Bukit Batok. Bukit Batok is just too ulu for me -.-ll Well, I must say that Bran is kinda a reckless (or steady??) driver... maybe I am too well pampered by my dad's skills. Anyway, I was saying, I caught 106 and woohoo.. it's the first time I am alone on a long long bendy :) Reached Orchard in just 15mins and that's kinda fast, considering it took me almost 20mins on a usual day. Full of hopes, I walked to Cine to see the screening times for Secret. 0135 -.-'' It's only 1130 and I am not going to wait for 2 hours for that show. Trying my luck, I decided to walk to the Cathay.. Guess I used up my luck.. there's absolutely NO screenings for that show.. Depressed, I decided to walk home. It's my first time walking home from Orchard.

Along the way, I passed by Little India.. Kinda a scary experience to walk along that stretch of road and the encounter with 2 hookers hooking on an Indian didnt really calm me down any bit. I walked faster whenever I passed by a place of worshipped and almost ran when I passed the hospital. It's not funny. I'm really imagining ppl waving at me at the hospital windows.. OMG -.-ll Reached home after 2 plus hours, where along the way, I successfully crossed a dangerous junction with no traffic lights, passed by a fainted Indian and countless cockroaches. Well done Donald :) In fact, I did think that I did a great job until my mum, my sis and my cousin told me they have walked back home before...not once but few times -.-ll What the hill...

Anyway, I have watched Secret. Although the many compliments my friends have given to the show, I still find it quite boring, especially in the front part. Actually, I am still confused I dozed because of tiredness or the show was boring. Well, Jay's expression was still the same, but thumb ups given for Huang QiuSheng.. He's simply too good =) The storyline is still acceptable, just that the final part where Jay got back to the past where questions started popping out from everywhere. How many years did he go back? How was it possible for him to appear in the graduation picture? Did Rain died? etc etc.. I must admit though, that the piano scenes were cool...

Met up with Xiuxiu and Sharon last saturday. Nothing changed much among them, taking into the fact I just met them 2 weeks prior. What can change in such short notice? Haha. We had lunch at Kushinbo and then shopped around. Eventually we ended up in Orchard where we started roaming Far East and Para. It has been a long long time since I walked FarEast to that specific extend where we are walking past every shops. Haha. It's kinda tiring since I am not looking for anything and that most of the shops sell lady wears -.-ll Well, Xiuxiu bought a pair of ugly leggings. I always think leggings looked funny. They still do.. After that, we went to my favorite Para ^^ Bought underwear from Metro. There's a sale going on and the underwears are cheap. Went toilet and kinda overheard a funny conversation. The toilet auntie was warning a lady that there is a cockroach in the toilet and asked her to be careful. She added that she is afraid of the cockroach and that's why she is outside. Hehe... Well, it may not seem so funny after putting them in words..

Been eating a lot lately and havent been exercising much, apart from the 6km I ran during the Safra run. It was quite slow though.. So slow that people walking can OVERTAKE us... Haha.. But what is more fun than exercising with a group of friends? Thanks Mumu and Ruru ^^ I love you guys. Back to the eating thingy. Been eating really a lot. Can't seem to satisfy my hunger. Is this due to sadness? Oh my, NO FOOD THERAPY!! And yeah, that's what I told myself when I picked up retail therapy -.-ll

A sidenote to Kin Chung. Please do not message me anymore. I am damn disappointed with teh countless times you flied my kites and I am damn tired of the excuses you used. Go back to your gf since she is your everything -.-ll Maybe next time, I said maybe, I will still befriend you. But meantime, DO NOT DISTURB ME!!!

My reservist is coming and I have not started packing for it. In fact, I dont even know what should I pack, what should I bring and what I shouldnt bring. But nevertheless, I cut my hair to their short short standard. Dont wanna get fine in the camp just cos my hair is long. That will be stupid loh. Sorry cockroaches, lizards and spiders.. I guessed I would have to demolish your housings for dunno how many years. I need my SBO and helmets lah... Also sorry Nana, you have to face the ninja yourself.. But hey hey.. U have the ang gu kuey now :)

Been meeting Ruru a lot of times since last week. That explains my many many eating outs. Haha. We just simply like to eat out, for some reasons. Oh yaya, we loved to share lame jokes as well. Came up with few like... Who is the establisher of Isetan? (Ans: Ise Tan). Best was still Ruru's mother's 胖子跳楼, 猜一句骂人的话 (Ans：死胖子). Well, dear audiences, next time should you ever have the chance to listen to Ruru's mother say lame jokes in person, do remember and must remember to laugh. She will just say in your face: 你没有幽默感hor , should you fail to do so.. Haha. So funny..

That's all for now bah. Suddenly I feel damn sad and tired, to even carry on blogging. Tired of life, tired of work and tired of everything. Haha, but dont worry, I'm fine. It seems that despite the ample effort I tried to put in to make me looked happier, somehow, people are still feeling my sadness. It's that overpowering?? Haha.
