Before I start blogging about my past weekendS.. (Yes, ever since my camera went into an emo state, I have been so reluctant to blog about everything that happened in the weekends..) let me ask if anyone has thought of making a sound-proof toilet? Ever since I have started work at the new lab, it has been pretty stressful when sh*tting (Details spared).
Where should I start? Let's talk about the Mobihunt 2008. Mobihunt was the first treasure hunt I have entered and this year was its second year. More fantastic prizes, more participants and the area covered was larger. This year, I joined with Karkar and Ruru and with all the petrol and miles we had pumped in, we thought we were the winners, at least, one of them. But obviously, we were still a step too far. Bleah. Anyway, I am still pretty doubtful about the fairness of the whole hunt. I'm not being a whiner here, but with no fix mode of transport (you can take anything from car to cab to walk to bus) and number of people per group(2 – 4), I am quite sure people with car/ motorcycle will be at a bigger advantage. Although the top prize of 1.5k went to a couple which kinda proves that the more the merrier is not always true, I was positive they travelled via motorcycle. They must have. Yes, must be! :P
With so many things in mind, I totally forgotten about my Leehom concert. Well, what other words to describe beside FANTASTIC? He's LeeHom afterall! From piano to guitar to voilin to drum, he never failed us with his music talents. Although he was kinda pitchy (dont ask me what this meant) at high notes, forgot his lyrics here and there and did not play any chineseinstruments, he amused us with his Bahamut, the "magical moments" where 4 LeeHoms appeared on stage and when he appeared behind everyone in split seconds and uhem, his dance. Okok.. minus that dance. The dance, in my opinion, is quite soul-less. Sorry LeeHom, but you are still perfect :)
Oh! LeeHom concert was the only concert I spent money buying those 周边商品. AND I actually queued for almost an hour for it!!
Ok. Let's move on to a week later. Oops, that's the Mobihunt. Another week later, which is the past weekend, there was Mike's Wedding.
Wow. The wedding nowadays never fail to surprise me. Mike's wedding banquet was not the normal 10-course dinner type. It's buffet @ Oscar's in Conrad Centennial. Mike said he preferred some wedding where everyone is not really constrain to their seats and that, 60 dishes to choose from is far better than the usual 10. Cool eh.
The wedding was a mini-gathering. There was SuperLate Haohua, SuperEarly Fuji, Overslept Loong and BigNote Calvin. Unexpected guests include Ivy, Sean and even my ex colleagues Winnie, KianLeong and WaiHeng. Too bad, Chia chia and Waichee and maybe Suansuan, were not able to attend.
No pictures to show (Sianz!) cos the emo camera. Curse it! Sean better send me some pictures ~~ But Chailing was really gorgeous with the fiery red dress. As for Mike, he was looking good too lah. But somehoe his outfit reminded me of a waiter. Oops. It's ok lah. He don't read my blog anyway (Dont you even give him my blog address, CALVIN!). Hehehe.
PS: Pardon for the mistakes. I will proofread when I have time. :)
PSPS: I forgotten to blog about the BIG WALK!!
