Today, since I have sinned by buying so much titbits, I guessed I would eat light. Haha. Light in the whole idea (Veggies leh.. how heavy), but heavy in portion (I dunno how to cook a 1-pax portion >< )... Anyway, below demonstrates how it is done...
Marinate the sliced chicken with 1tsp starch, 1tbp soy sauce, pepper and 1 tsp sesame oil. Actually, I dont really measure the amount of seasoning. I use gut feelings again ~~ I always do... Haha
The other ingredients: Broccoli, carrot and the seasoning, which is made by mixing a cup of water, 1tbsp soy sauce/ oyster sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp starch, pepper and an amount of wine (Haha.. I love to use 花雕酒 in cooking!! For everything!)
Boil the veggies, unless you like them crunchy like hell. Just a minute will be fine. You dont wanna soggy veggies as well.
Ok. This looks terrible cos halfway thru, the smoke alarm went off and I had a hard time figuring how to off the alarm. So the garlic turned charred ><
Anyway, the procedures are: Heat the pan, fry the garlic, fry the chicken until at least 90% cooked, pour in the veggie and stir-about for another 2-3mins before adding the seasonings. Continue stirring about until the sauce thickens. Tah Dang.
There you are. A simple and 'light' dinner :) Healthy tooooo, I think :)
