I miss you ~~

My Hokkien is terrible. But lately, I have been listening to some hokkien songs due to A*Mei and SodaGreen. There's one song partcularly I like from the SodaGreen Summer album.

Maybe cos of the soothing tune of the song bah. Everytime I listen to the song, I will miss my 爷爷 and 外婆 DEEPLY. So much that a few times, there's tears in my eyes!! Haha..

They are both old. Grandma had a fall lately and grandpa is going for a MAJOR operation soon. So major that anything wrong might cost his life :(Touchwood touchwood.

I dunno why. I wanna call them, but I seriously lack the courage to do so. I know most of you will say '怕什么' But the feeling I am going through it's just hard to describe out. I am scare I will be at a loss for words (which I always do). I am shy to talk to them over the phone. I am scare they will 挂念我 miss me AND most of all, I am scare I will miss them even more

Well, no matter what, I need to call my grandpa soon since he is having the operation this Saturday. I have even rehearsed in my mind what I am going to say. DUMB, but true.

Anyway, BehYee, if you happened to read this, you can try to decipher the lyrics of the songs. I dont really understand, but I think the chorus is something like 'Am I still in your heart' thingy. It's for lovers I reckon, but it can relate to my misses for ah mah and yeye :(

PS: I am still very guilty that I missed my grandfather's (mother's father) funeral while I was studying in Brisbane :(
