The hottest issue in town at the moment - repeal or keep 377A. For those who dont know what is 377A... wait.. let me check it out first cos I dont really know what is it all about too.. haha..
Section 377A ("Outrages on decency") states that:
Any male person who, in public or private, commits, or abets the commission of, or procures or attempts to procure the commission by any male person of, any act of gross indecency with another male person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years.
Anyway, I personally find it quite redundant for the need to repeal 377A. You mean the police will come knocking or kicking on your door and see whether you are having sex with another guy? Or are you even considering to sex in public? Come on... I'm not homophobic, but I'm definitely disapproved of public display of affections, PDA in short. What should parents tell their children if their son/daughters ask," Mum/Dad, why is Korkor kissing Korkor?" I will be in a state of shock if I kanna that...
What is more outraging is the Keep 377A. Why do even the non-affected parties bother -.-ll People are just too free to bother about other issues apart from their own.
As for me, well, I'm neutral.
